The EL2022 digital output terminal connects the binary 24 V DC control signals from the automation device on to the actuators at the process level with electrical isolation. The EtherCAT Terminal contains two channels whose signal state is indicated by Discontinuation notice: Beckhoff is removing the EL2022 from its range because supply of critical components has stopped. Successor: ED2032 (EtherCAT Terminal, 2-channel digital output, 24 V DC, 2 A, push-in, with channel diagnostics). Higher channel density: ED2838 or ED2828 (8-channel, push-in).
