Part of Honeywell's Model RM, RF, RH Rugged Rod End In-line Tension Load Cell range. Manufactured out of welded stainless steel to work in both laboratory settings and field applications. Intended for tension measurement and mounted inline to the load axis and capable of ±5 Vdc or 10 Vdc, or 4 mA to 20 mA (two wire) output with an optional high output signal for added electrical noise resistance and signal resolution. In addition, they can be equipped with an optional built-in buffered shunt calibration circuit. The available models include RM model with male threads, RF with female threads and RH model with male and female threads. Available in either tension or tension/compression versions. The tension/compression series are capable of withstanding significant off-axis loads, making them an ideal choice for in-line compression measurement or tension measurement where side loading cannot be completely controlled. Potential applications may include fluid power transfer systems, hydraulic actuator testing, oil and gas applications, field testing, and laboratory measurements.
