Sharp Eye 40/40 Triple IR is a dense flame detector in explosion-proof design. The detector uses three sensors with optical filters that recognize the typical radiation pattern from a hydrocarbon-based fire. The detector is intended for indoor and outdoor installation and, in addition to high blind alarm immunity, also has an IP rating, which means that it can be placed in all environments. The detector's Exd class means that it is connected directly without a zener or insulation barrier. Shielded cable must be used in the Ex area. Typical application environments are refineries, hangars, offshore installations and other demanding environments where high reliability and reliable warning are required. Sharp Eye 40/40I can, for example, detect a standard test fire (0, 1 m2 barrel with petrol) at a distance of 65 meters in less than 5 seconds. Connects to detector loop via address unit/transponder.
