Protective grilles for detectors are designed for protection of point detectors against mechanical damage. Protective grilles can be used for all honeywell detectors, with the exception of esser 9200 detectors with detector sums and clogged manual detectors due to the sizes. If the grilles are to be used against the esser 9200 detector and clogged manual detectors, liners must be used on the screw fasteners. Ordinary pipe sleeves can be used for lining.
