The Dual Tec DT8xxxF24 wall mounted series of motion detection sensors include a PIR (passive infrared ) sensor combined with 24gz high frequency microwave antenna technology to measure infrared (IR) light radiating from objects in its field of view. This motion sensor with multiple patented solutions only detects in the area desired with no unwanted overpenetration of the 24Ghz k-band radar signal to deliver extremely sensitive intrusion detection and improved false alarm immunity. This is unlike other lower frequency motion detection sensors with 10mHz microwave antenna-carrying motion sensors which require several frequencies and have lower detection capabilities. Installers will appreciate the simple to install design featuring a convenient wiring channel, knockouts for mounting and wiring, easy access to wiring terminals, and mounting screws conveniently secured inside the housing.
