ECC-RTZM remote telephone zone modules allow for secure access to the ECC-50/100(E) emergency command center via cell phone or a remote telephone means. Authorized personnel can broadcast live or pre-recorded messages over selected speaker zones on the ECC50/100(E) by calling into remote telephone zone modules and initiating events. Modules add another level of accessibility to the ECC-50/100(E) for triggering mass notification events for non-UL Listed applications. In the event of an emergency, a trained user would have the ability to dial into telephone zone modules remotely to initiate prerecorded messages or perform a live page by using touch-tone-based activation through dual-tone multi frequency. For an added level of security, modules provide password-based authentication so that only users who are issued a 4-digit password can be granted access to the system. For faster preapproved access, seamless caller-ID based authentication will allow up to five telephones to be pre-configured for immediate paging without password authentication required. Remote telephone zone modules easily mount in the ECC-50/100(E) cabinet behind the batteries and plugs into a J9 connector on the main control board. Use of remote telephone zone modules with the ECC-50/100(E) requires the approval of local authority having jurisdiction. It is not UL 864 or UL 2572 listed.
