The OSI-RE is a linear optical smoke detector with reflector designed to be connected to Control and Signaling Equipment. The detector consisting of an emitter/receiver generates an infrared signal towards the reflector. This sends the light beam back to the receiver where a CMOS sensor analyses the signal.The OSID-RE is particularly suitable for the protection of buildings with large open spaces such as warehouses, atriums, but also smaller open spaces thanks to a range of 5 to 100 m. It automatically manages the adjustment of its sensitivity and incorporates a basic heating resistor thus avoiding the formation of condensation on the part on the optics.
