For use in certain production technologies, the robot can be equipped with an energy supply system between the base frame and the arm. An energy supply system consists of the “fastening materials” assembly required for attaching it, interfaces A1 and A3, and the dress package for transmitting energy, fluids and signals. The energy supply system A1 - A3 is installed between interface A1 on the base frame and interface A3 on the arm. The dress package contains the individual supply lines (e.g. water, air, signals) and the flexible tube. In the case of an “energy supply system without supply lines”, an empty flexible tube with a blank for a clamping piece and a cable star is supplied.
