The input data are collected and published to the remote I/O head adaptor and output modules are updated with the data received from remote I/O head adaptor. This ruggedized product can be used in more severe environments, and operate in an extended temperature range, from -25°C to +70°C/-13°F to 158°F. This Ethernet Remote Input Output (RIO) drop adaptor is equipped with 3 Ethernet ports on front panel, 1 service port (ETH1) and 2 PRP ports for redundant device network (LAN A and LAN B).
