This communication module is part of the Modicon M580 range, an offer of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) and safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with built-in Ethernet. This communication module enables M580 platform to use RTU protocol exchange with RTU stations. This ruggedized product can be used in more severe environments, and operate in an extended temperature range, from -25°C to +70°C/-13°F to 158°F. It supports up to 64 RTU devices when module acts as Client/Master. It complies with M580 Hot Standby system. The module dimensions are 32x86x131mm, and it weighs 0.38kg.
