PCB terminal block, 218 Series, solder pin dimensions 0.5 x 0.75 mm

This PCB terminal block (item number 218-517) is designed for quick and easy connections. It is a universal connector that can be used practically anywhere, e.g., as a pluggable PCB connector, panel feedthrough header, connector for rail-mount terminal blocks, or a floating connector for different mounting methods. Rated current and voltage are key factors to consider when selecting a PCB terminal block, as they indicate how the product can be used. This product has a rated voltage of 160 V and a rated current of 6 A. Conductors should only be connected to this PCB terminal block if their strip length is between 5 mm and 6 mm. This product features one conductor terminal and utilizes CAGE CLAMP®. Our tried-and-tested universal connection known as CAGE CLAMP® leads the way when it comes to connection technology and electrical interconnections. The dimensions are 44.68 x 10.9 x 13 mm (width x height x depth). This PCB terminal block is suitable for conductor cross sections ranging from 0.08 mm² to 0.5 mm². Up to seventeen potentials / seventeen poles can be connected to this terminal strip using seventeen clamping points on one level. The contacts are made of electrolytic copper (ECu), the gray housing is made of polyamide (PA66) for insulation, and the clamping spring is made of chrome-nickel spring steel (CrNi). The contact surface is coated with tin. This PCB terminal block is operated with a slider. The PCB terminal block is designed for THT soldering. The conductor is designed to be inserted at a 40° angle.. The solder pins measure 0.5 x 0.75 mm in cross-section and 2.8 mm in length and are arranged over the entire terminal strip (in-line). There are two solder pins per potential.
